SeaPort-e
VSI is a Local, State, and Federal SBA 8(a) Certified Minority, Asian-American Woman-Owned Small Disadvantaged Business Enterprise. VSI has US Navy SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Prime Contract (No. N00178-07-D-5300) to provide engineering, technical, and programmatic support services in Zones 2 (National Capitol Zone) and 4 (Gulf Coast Zone) in the following Functional Service Areas:
- Software Engineering, Development, Programming, and Network Support
- Information Systems (IS) Development
- Information Assurance (IA)
- Information Technology (IT) Support
- Program Support
- Functional and Administrative Support
The SeaPort-e Contract is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract with a five year base period of performance and two five-year award options.
Utilizing SeaPort-e, the US Navy Virtual SYSCOM (VS) Commanders (NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP and SPAWAR) have adopted an integrated approach to contracting for support services. This unified approach allows SeaPort-e service procurement teams to leverage their best work products, practices, and approaches across the Navy's critical service business sector. Simply stated, SeaPort-e provides a faster, better, and more cost-effective means of contracting for professional support services.
Under this contract, VSI is teamed with ReMilNet LLC of Jacksonville, Florida with VSI being Prime contractor and ReMilNet LLC being principal subcontractor to VSI. Refer to the VSI Team section for capabilities regarding ReMilNet LLC.
