For
the SeaPort-e Program Contract, VSI is teamed with ReMilNet LLC, a
woman-owned small business established in 2003 as a vehicle to provide
assistance to the government by leveraging retired military and civil
servants to complete short and mid term projects. ReMilNet, a small
business, remains flexible and adjusts with the customers' needs over
time. Their philosophy is to reduce overhead and maximize results to the
customer. By using technology and eliminating waste, it possesses a
proven record of accomplishment, saving the government money while
completing the contract faster than its competitors. ReMilNet retains
experienced talent to complete jobs with little to no lead-time and a
short learning curve. Many ReMilNet consultants have backgrounds in the
job at hand, therefore less time is spent on management oversight and
administrative burdens.
Capitalizing on the retired military and civil servant market,
ReMilNet takes the best talent and returns it back to the government on a
contract-to-contract basis. The majority of its employees have at least a Bachelors degree, and almost
half hold Masters degrees in their specific fields.
